The music clip "sonne" by Rammstein is very similar to the story of Snow White. Although is is set in more modern times it holds some of the basics about Snow White. It has seven dwarves, which in the music clip, they are still miners, although they appear to be working for Snow White instead of themselves. They also seem to be her slaves in some way, but its never clear as to if they are her slaves or not. As in other versions of Snow White, she takes care of them, however in the movie clip they appear to be waiting on her hand and foot, doing whatever she wants them to do. Also the stepmother or the queen is so obsessed with her personal appearance that it drives her to try and kill Snow White. In the video clip, there is no stepmother what so ever, and Snow White also appears to be the one obsessed with herself, instead of the innocent girl she comes off to be in other stories. And very unlike the traditional stories, instead of the poison apple making her fall asleep until her prince came, the apple is the object that makes her wake up again. Where the dwarves usually don't mind their job in the mines, and actually seem to like it, in the video clip, they again appear to be slaves to Snow White, and are not happy with their work at all. One of the most interesting things about this clip is that there is no prince to come and take Snow White away, and in fact it seems to be the dwarves that are the ones in need of a savior from the tyrant Snow White.
